Export Heat Treatment
Enviro Pallets (NSW) Pty Ltd has installed a heat treatment module at its Glendenning premises which ensures all pallets exported by clients meet strict International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) regulations.
The company has been accredited as a Wood Packaging Manufacturer with an on-site Treatment Facility – Certification No: 13648.
Many of Enviro Pallets’ clients are involved in the export market and the installation of the heat-treatment module ensures a faster turnaround time between manufacture and loading for export.
Pallets exported to most countries from Australia must comply with International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures Publication 15 (ISPM 15).
ISPM 15 is a measure developed by IPPC that directly addresses the need to sanitise certain material used to ship products between countries.
We offer ISPM-HT Certified Wooden Pallet, which is used by wood packaging manufacturers the option of either Forced Hot Air Treatment or simply Heat Treatment, requiring that the wood core temperature reaches a minimum of 56 degrees Centigrade, for a minimum of 30 minutes or Fumigation, that the wood be fumigated to a prescribed specification with methyl bromide.
The ispm15 standard is applicable throughout the Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Nigeria, Philippines, Peru, Republic of Korea, South Africa, Japan, European Union etc. Many more countries are set to adopt the standard with in the near future. Moreover, these ISPM-HT Certified Wooden Pallets are Heat Treated as per the norms laid down by the IPPC, at very competitive rates.
